"Hi everyone,
I thought it was about time I posted something up to let you know that things are still happening. Though the guys are taking some time off work is still going on for the new tracks. The studio live recordings are currently being mixed and should hopefully be ready by the Spring. I've heard the bands new recording of 'Someone's Calling' and it's brilliant. The guys are still working on the new songs as well and still plan to release them this year.
As well as that plans are also being readied for tours which will include more of the new tracks. 2013 promises to be one of the most exciting years for fans of Modern English for a very long time. Watch this forum for more information.

Modern English regret to announce, due to unforeseen circumstances, that the 2012 UK Tour has been postponed/cancelled beyond our control. We would like to sincerely apologize to our UK Fans or to anyone that has been inconvenienced by this. We would also like for you to know that plans are already in motion to organize a new 2013 UK Tour...so please stay tuned!

The New Movie 'I Melt With You' which is in post-production, is set to be released January 21st. The movie will include the original version of 'I Melt With You' plus a totally new version of the song that the band specially recorded for the movie. The original version of 'Gathering Dust' is also included in the movie.

You should head out and see the guys play live this time around...it's like no other experience! Modern English was just interviewed yesterday by MTV's Matt Pinfield on 101.9 RXT in New York, little chat and 2 songs live in the studio, it will be broadcast this Thursday during the 8am show in NYC, you can listen tomorrow (morning of Thursday July 15th in the USA) here at 8am EST or 9am CST, etc.

3. I also wanted to say that I met the band at the Chicago Show on Sunday, and also met many fans, fellow forum members, and had a BLAST! The guys rocked out like never before, it blew the original album recordings out of the water! They sounded so fresh and new too! Let's hope some new studio recordings or live tracks come out of this tour!? I'll post more information on the forum here within the next day or so when i get a chance!
